Dates: May 2, June 6, July 4, August 1, September 5, October 3
(First Saturday of the month, May through October)
Times: Registration and sight-in from 8:30 to 9:30.  Match begins at 9:30.
Course of Fire: 40 Round Aggregate, under the following conditions:
10 Chickens:          200 meters (full sized animals, approved for Grand Slam contention)
10 Pigs:                 300 meters (full sized animals, approved for Grand Slam contention)
10 Turkeys:            300 meters (animal size proportionately reduced)
10 Rams:               300 meters (animal size proportionately reduced)

Competitors will score someone else’s score card and set their own targets.

Current NRA High Power Rifle Silhouette Rules apply.
Equipment: Rifles of 6mm or larger caliber, any sights.  No magnums, no armor piercing or tracer type ammunition permitted.  Ammunition which causes target damage will not be permitted.  Shooters may compete with Standard Rifle, Hunter Rifle, or both.  Maximum weight, with sights and magazine, of Standard Rifle:  10 lb. 2oz., Hunter Rifle:  9 lb.  Current NRA High Power Rifle Silhouette Rules apply.
Fees: $10.00 for each rifle.  New silhouette shooters purchasing their first NRA Silhouette Classification book will have their match fee waived.  2014 NRA Classification books are required and will be available for $13.00.

Classification: NRA High Power Rifle Silhouette classifications will be used, consisting of Master, AAA, AA, A, and B.  First time shooters are unclassified.  If there are 5 or more unclassified shooters, there will be an unclassified class.  Otherwise, unclassified shooters will compete in the highest available class.
Awards: Awards will be made to the overall match winner for each type of rifle, if there are a sufficient number of entries.  Awards will be made to top competitors within each class, dependent on the number of entries within each class.  If there are fewer than four competitors in a class, they will be combined with the next higher class.

5-in-a-row and 10-in-a-row pins will be awarded.
General Information:

All firing points are covered.  We have two sets of 10 targets for each animal and, so, are able to run 8 shooters on the line for each relay.  Matches should be completed by early afternoon.  Restroom facilities and a soda machine are located in the clubhouse.  No food is available, so bring your own lunch!

Directions to Range from NJ Turnpike:

NJ turnpike to Exit 7A.  Take I-195 East 10 miles to Exit 16B onto RTE 537 East.  Go through a few traffic lights until RTE 571 (gas stations on corners).  Make right onto RTE 571.  Go 4.5 miles to first traffic light (Cassville Tavern on left corner).  Make right onto RTE 528 (Veterans Highway).  Go 1.75 miles and make left onto Stump Tavern Road (a sharp left hand turn).  Go .75 miles and make right at driveway with yellow sign:  "Central Jersey Rifle & Pistol Club."
